Gates Nissan of Richmond, recently presented Baptist Health Richmond President Todd Jones with the keys to a 2012 Nissan Versa automobile. This gift will help fund the expansion of the laboratory courier service at Baptist Health Richmond.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Baptist Health (formerly Baptist Healthcare System) has named Stephen C. Hanson president and chief executive officer, effective March 8. Hanson succeeds President and Chief Executive Officer Tommy J. Smith, who announced his retirement last year.

Baptist Health Richmond has expanded its medical imaging capacity and capability with the recent addition of a 64-slice Computed Tomography (CT) Scanner.
A new Siemens 64-slice CT scanner at Baptist Health Richmond provides patients and physicians higher quality images that can be delivered faster and safer than ever before. The new scanner not only creates faster, clear images, but it reduces the radiation dose per image, making it much safer. The higher quality images mean that radiologists can spot things that would not have shown up in images from older systems.
